Carlingford Fees

Practitioners at Myhealth Medical Centre Carlingford have a mixed billing policy. An out-of-pocket fee will apply to most consultations. Each general practitioner at Myhealth Medical Centre Carlingford operates independently, and patient fees are at the discretion of each independent practitioner.
Bulk Billing
Bulk-billed consultations are available for:
- children 15 years and under
- Pensioner Concession Card holders
- Health Care Card holders
- DVA card holders
- weekday childhood immunisations and vaccinations
- dressings
- Care Plans
- Mental Health Care Plans
Procedural Fees
Procedural items such as implanon insertion/replacement/removal, skin procedures and iron infusions all incur a fee. Please contact reception on 9871 3088 for fees and costs.
Processing Payments
A charge will be made at the end of the consultation. The total amount including any out-of-pocket costs will be charged. Our team will process the payment and lodge the Medicare rebate for you, which you will receive into your nominated bank account within 24-48 hours.
We accept most card types, including VISA and Mastercard. We do not accept AMEX.
Cancellation and Non-Attendance Fees
Non-attendance of appointments, and cancellations of appointments with less than 4 hours notice will incur a $50 non-attendance fee. You will not be able to make further appointments if this fee is unpaid.
Fees may vary depending on the time and complexity of the consultation.
